Cultural care
Grows best in rich soil types with good drainage. Apply a slow release fertiliser in spring. Foliage may become dormant in colder regions with new growth reappearing in spring. Pruning not generally required although any older foliage can be removed as new foliage appears in spring if desired. Removing spent flower stems will also encourage further flushes.
