Cultural care

Flowers form on the previous year's shoots. Best grown in moist to well-draining soils; clay-loam. Moderate water requirements once established. Fertilise regularly throughout the active growing season with an all-purpose fertiliser. Basal shoots should be allowed to grow as they will be the flowering stems in the next year. By keeping these basal shoots, they will achieve the magical 'garland' growing habit. - Do not prune! In hot weather do not allow to dry out and proctect from hot afternoon sun.
