Allium ‘Millennium’ is a gorgeous clump-forming variety producing globe shaped rose-pink flowers, which are a great attractor for butterflies in the garden. Its attractive, thick, strappy glossy green foliage offsets the flowers, which are born throughout spring and summer. In addition to creating a stir in the garden, the flowers last well when cut for vases and indoor displays.
This is an easy and quick growing plant, which requires little maintenance. If at any time the plant begins to look untidy, it’s an easy fix - simply cut right back to the base to enable the plant to regrow fresh foliage, which shoots from beneath the ground. This plant naturally falls dormant and 'disappears' through the winter months, reappearing in spring.
