Sedums, commonly know as Stonecrops, are a versatile and low maintenance solution for filling small spaces in many garden situations. Great effects can be achieved where it can spill between rock crevices, over walls or other edges. Alternatively allow enough space to form a cushion-like mound as a highly textural ground cover.
WATER REQUIREMENTS:
Low. Water sparingly - only when foliage appears to be softening or ‘shrinking’ - typically during extended periods of heat.
CARE: Ensure soil is well draining and location is sunny. No other maintenance is generally required although if grown in containers an addition of a slow release fertiliser during spring would be beneficial.
Ideal for container displays either on its own or ina mixed planting. Ornamental for gravel gardens or dry garden landscaping.
