Plant Uses
K. 'Egyptian Rose' thrives in a warm, sunny site and will tolerate exteme cold conditions, summer heat and humidity. Always give plants occasional deep waterings during extended dry periods. Will grow in any moderately fertile, well drained soil although the addition of well rotted compost to the soil prior to planting is always beneficial to the garden.
K. 'Egyptian Rose' requires minimum pruning - just a light trim in early spring. Removing spent flowering stems is recommended to increase flower production. Use of a slow release fertiliser applied during the warmer months would be beneficial to overall performance. Lasts well as cut flowers and also retains good colour if dried for crafts.
