Variety Profile
A very long flowering variety native to the prairies of northern America. The blooms are quite large, reaching about 8cm in diameter, providing an explosive display throughout the year with exception of the coldest months of winter in cooler climates.
The display is brilliant, parading a striking range of colours from deep red and tangerine orange to vibrant yellows. Although the flowering season officially starts from October and extends through to May, this variety is known to spot flower throughout the year in warmer climates.

Cultural Care
Very dry tolerant once established. By this we mean a regular watering schedule during the first growing season will encourage the development of a deep extensive root system which will give it a strong and healthy start minimising future maintenance requirements. Removing spent flowers hastens the production of new, fresh blooms. Will grow in most soil types provided they are open and well draining.

Plant Uses
A fabulous compact form ideal for many landscape applications whether grown individually, mass planted or in containers. Fast growing and attracts butterflies. Flowers last well in floral arrangements.
