Cultural Care
This variety is hardy, growing in most soil types given good drainage. For best results, choose a full sun position. Although dry tolerant, regular deep watering should be applied during extended dry spells. Cut back hard at the end of winter to remove previous seasons stems and promote new, dense growth. A single application of slow release fertiliser during spring would be beneficial to overall performance.

Plant Uses
General garden use where it can be a welcoming break from green on green. Also useful for 'hot' coloured garden schemes where it can be utilised to break strong drifts of colour so that the eye can rest from dazzling colours.
Can be grown in large containers providing a good quality potting mix is used with regular watering and feeding as is required for all container specimens to perform at their optimum.
