Variety Profile
A low growing, clump forming variety which produces decorative, large heart-shaped leaves. Crisp, green veins run through the foliage which has a striking silvery appearance creating a highlight similar to that of a blanket of frost. During early spring, tiny clusters of clear blue forget-me-not like flowers are borne.

Cultural Care
Dry tolerant once established, however for best results, plant in a cool, well drained position ensuring that it does not dry out during extended periods of heat. Fertilise regularly. Requires some protection from snails. If it becomes untidy prune down to ground during spring to allow for fresh, new growth to appear.

Plant Uses
Perfect in part to full shade where small group plantings will brighten darker areas of the garden with it's silvery illumination. Can also be grown in containers for covered patio or entertainment areas or perhaps beside a seat in the shade. Ideal for planting with such companion plants as Plectranthus Mona Lavender, heucheras and hostas.
