Variety Profile

•Compact habit with short flower spikes which hold well against wind and rain
•Long flowering perennial producing massed stems of royal purple, tubular flowers from early spring through to autumn
•Forms low clumps of narrow, evergreen foliage
•Dry tolerant once established

Cultural Care

Prefers an open, well draining soil in a full sun location although afternoon shade will be tolerated. Medium watering requirements withstanding some dryness but should be watered regularly during extended periods of heat. Apply a slow release fertiliser in early spring. Cut back old flower stems to basal growth to maintain neat habit and encourage further displays
