Plant uses

Ideal as a 'betweener' in a mixed garden display where it will not only mask the absence of herbaceous perennials or bulbs during winter but also offers a sparkling display of flowers during this dull time of year.
Will grow in low light areas but may need more trimming to maintain a bushier form. Ideal in rockeries or for retaining walls and embankments where it will trail over edges if allowed.
Can be grown well in containers or smaller spaces also.

Cultural care

Choose a sunny location in any well drained, light soil. Prune by half after flowering to encourage new shoots and a fresh crop of flowers.
Feed with a slow release fertiliser in early spring.
